Stanley Frederick CHAPMAN. Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Maritime Regiment Royal Artillery. Lost in MV John Pedersen, torpedoed by U94 at Cape Farewell, Greenland, 20th May 1941.
CWGC data. Gunner 5390715 Stanley Frederick CHAPMAN. 6/3rd Maritime Regiment, Royal Artillery died at sea 20th May 1941 aged 28. Son of Frederick George and Emma Ada Chapman husband of Alice May Chapman, nee Cox, of New Barnet, Hertfordshire. Commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent.

This memorial plaque is at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
