A good photo - from what I've seen so far, it seems that the Finnish army is equipped solely with Russian or modified Russian equipment. Is this correct?
Not solely, but mostly so until recently when our Defence Forces have tried a bit more meet NATO/Western standards. It was cheaper for Finland to buy weapons from Soviets/Russia, often we got them as payments for exports to them. Today our Air Force has F-18 Hornets instead of former MiG-21's, Army's MBT is changing from T-72 to Leopard 2A4 and so on. But still today FDF has a lot of Russian equipment and even 90's bought BUK-M1 area air defence system from Russia. Also has to be mentioned that Finland has also a lot of own production like Navy which has almost all it's ships built in Finland, Army has Pasi APC's replacing old BTR-60's and assault rifles are mostly made in Finland (thou originally modified from AK-47), and new versions haven't got much to do with kalashnikov.
