Lieutenant General, Robert Stuart BAYNES, Colonel, The King\'s Liverpool Regiment who died 7th October 1902. This tablet is erected by his brother and sister. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry) He lived at "Norton Lees" Hayward\'s Heath, Susex and also at 88, Strada Britannica, Malta. He died at Norton Lees. His effects went to Sir James Duff McGrigor, banker, and army agent, the attorney of George Edward Baynes. This memorial tablet is in the Holy Trinity Church, Sliema, Malta.

Pursuant to the Statute, 22 and 23 Victoria, cap. 35, intituled
an Act to further amend the Law of Property,
and relieve Trustees.
NOTICE is hereby given, that all creditors and other persons having any claims or demands upon or against the estate of Lieutenant-General Robert Stuart
Baynes, late of Norton Lees, Hayward\'s Heath, in the county of Sussex, and of 88, Strada Britannica, in the Island of Malta, deceased (who died on the 7th day of October, 1902, and letters of administration with the will annexed, to whose estate and effects were granted ,, on the 21st day of November, 1902, to Sir James Roderick Duff McGrigor, Bart., of 25, Charles-street, Saint James, London, as the attorney of General George Edward Baynes, the sole executor named in the said will) are hereby required to send the particulars, in writing,
of their claims or demands to us the undersigned, the Solicitors for the said administrators, on or before the 30th day of Jane, 1903, after which date the said administrator will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims and demands of which he shall then have had notice, and that he will not be
liable for the assets of the deceased, or any part thereof, so distributed to any person or persons of whose claims or demands he shall not then have had notice.
