Extended Description: Staff Sergeant 24199086 Robert J HARRISON, Ex UDR. He was a serving with the RUCR when murdered by the IRA in Gilford, Co Down after following of a device in a shop in the town. 5 Feb 1977 aged 50. The tree dedication plaque at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire has his date of death as 5th February 1987. Armed Forces Memorial has 1977.
