Private Richard William GRIFFITHS No. 6891 King's Shropshire Light Infantry

Died 1 June 1917 aged 41 at No 2 Berington War Hospital.

Born at Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury to George and Ellen Griffiths of (1911) 107-108 Longden, Coleham Shrewsbury.
His sister Dorothy Astley was granted a war gratuity 4 December 1917 revised 6 November 1919.

Died 9 January 1946 aged 39 in the Registration District of Bilston, Staffordshire.
In 1911 he was residing with his grandparents George and Ellen Griffiths of (1911) 107-108 Longden, Coleham Shrewsbury. Son of John Henry and Helen Griffith who in 1911 resided at 141 Carmen Street, Ardcock, Manchester. He was a police officer with the Manchester Constabulary.
