The 800 mm (31.5in) artillery piece ( Dora or Gustav) weighed 1350 tons with the barrel weighing 400 tons. It was a railroad that took two railways to stabilize it and for weight distribution. It had a range of 40 km and a crew of 500 men. A round could be fired every 15 minutes
