- Percival Vincent BROMYARD. Able Seaman P/SSX23572. Royal Navy on HMS Vernon. Born 30 January 1920 at Basford Nottinghamshire. (mother’s name Hartshorne). Husband of Irene D Pounder, married 1941 at Basford. Died at Portsmouth, Hampshire 1 March 1941 aged 21 years as the result of bombing.
At rest in Park Cemetery, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
