After the failure of the German Ardennes offensive, the Americans resumed their advance into Germany. On March 15, 1945, the F-Group of the Red Cross Clubmobiles passed the German Siegfried Line and 10 days later they crossed the river Moselle, followed by the crossing of the Rhine at Koblenz.
