I wore a different uniform but the atmosphere here is exactly the same - dark, expectant (we were always cold!) - another great selection of photos! your son served in the same platoon?
Yes, he was in my platoon. But he was treated the same as the rest of my soldiers. As a matter of fact, He was the battalion's best Dragon gunner during his hitch. FYI, the Dragon is a shoulder fired Guided antitank missile. Took the place of the Bazooka and recoiless rifle.
