BLOOD James Andrew, Pte 21344, A Coy, 8th Norfolk Regt died 5th July 1916 age 20. Son of Arthur and Ada Blood of derby Road, Hilton. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France
BUSH Arthur Henry, Sgt 1205, D Sqdn, Derbyshire Yeomanry, died 22 August 1915 age 28. Son of Arthur and Jennie Bush of Staker House, Mickleover, Derbyshire. Commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey
HILL William henry, Pte 53095, 141st Machine Gun Corps died 2nd October 1916, age 22. Son of Elizabeth Hill of Hilton Common, Hilton. Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension, France
JACKSON Thomas William, Pte 241060, 1/6th North Staffs Regt died 31 February 1918 age 34. Buried at Divion Communal Cemetery, France. The CWGC has his death age as 35
MAYNARD John Wilmot, 2nd Lt, 3rd Kings Royal Rifles, died 24 April 1915 age 18. Buried in Polygon Wood Ypres. Son of Edmund Anothy Jefferson and Margaret Blanche Maynard of Hoon Ridge, Hilton. The CWGC have him listed on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium. This memorial have him being buried in the above stated location.
ORME Thomas Henry, Pte 40865, 7th Leicestershire Regt, died 8 October 1918 age 22. Son of John and Jane Orme of Talbot Villa, Hilton and brother of William who also fell. Buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gouy, France
