That is my father Karmenu Briffa, front row far right. We had this picture on our wall, and I inherited it after his death. My parents celebrated their first wedding anniversary on the first day the bombing started June 11, 1940. They started their family during the war, losing their first born to pneumonia at nine months. My father was stationed at Fort St. Elmo on the artillery guns. Thank you so much for sharing this.

So pleased that you appreciate me sharing this photograph. My wife and I spend many happy weeks in Malta each year and have photographed all the War Graves there. May I ask where your father is at rest, so that the next time we visit Malta we will pay our respects at his resting place. Thank you again.

Alf
