- K122 Carmelo (k/a Carlo) FARRUGIA. Able Seaman, 204468 Royal Navy on HMS Egmont. Born 7 March 1874 in Gibraltar. Enlisted 4 April 1899 on HMS Hibernia. Civilian occupation, labourer. Died in hospital in Malta 18th September 1916 aged 41 years of carcinoma of stomach. His widow Betta of 191 Strada Santa Teresa, Cospicua, Malta was informed of his death 25 September 1916. At rest in Plot K Grave 122 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
