Private G/13951, The Buffs, 7th East Kent Regiment Killed in action at Paschendale Ridge, 12th October 1917, 34 He was the brother of john of Wheel Farm, Alton, Staffordshire. He is commemorated on his brother, John, memorial in Alton Cemetery, Hurst Lane, Alton, Staffordshire and also on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
