USAF HH-53 Jolly Green Giant on a rescue patrol October 17,1968 somewhere over South Vietnam. Rear door gunner has opened up with a little suppressing fire from his trusty GE GAU-2/a mini-gun firing 7.62 X 51mm nato over 6,000rpm or 100 rounds per second , that should have kept some heads down.

This is an HH-53 (not HH-3)
The HH-3 only had two M60 MG's, the HH-53 had 3 miniguns (door,window and ramp)
