Piper, John McKECHNIE. G Company, 1st Black Watch, 42 nd Regiment died 19th January 1889 aged 25 years and 6 months. Erected by the Officers, Non Commissioned Officers and Men of the above company also the drummers and Pipers of his battalion as a mark of respect.
