LANGLEY John Private, 11768, 8th Royal Welch Fusiliers. died of dysentery 21st August 1915 at Malta. Born at Leeswood, Mold, Flintshire. His widow Gertrude was granted a war gratuity on the 22nd December 1915 revised on the 29th August 1919, at this stage she had remarried and was Mrs Mahon.

POOLE Robert. Able Seaman, Z/44, Royal Navy (VR), Nelson Battalion , Royal Naval Division. Born 30th June 1894 and died on the 23rd August 1915 at 5.16am in St. Andrew's Military Hospital Malta from dysentery which he contracted at the Dardanelles . He was admitted 19 August 15. Enlisted on the 8th September 1914 , joined on the 22nd October 1914. An apprentice Fitter & Turner. Born June 30th 1894, in Hartlepool, Co. Durham, the son of Robert Watkin Poole, of 1 Shields Road, Wallsend-on-Tyne, Northumberland. Resided with father.

CLEGG Richard. Private, 13252, 6th East Lancashire Regiment. Died of his wounds received at Suvla Bay, 22nd August 1915, aged 32 years. The son of Mrs. Susan Clegg, and husband of Margaret Ann Clegg, of 6 Oddies Yard, Colne, Lancashire. Christ will gather in his own to the place where he is gone.
