Poppy Cross
Private 72068 Isaiah Gamston. 5th Devonshire Regiment Born 25 December 1899 died 29 August 1918. Son of William and Elizabeth Gamston, nee Elston of 20 Bath Street, Wolverhampton. His brother William Joseph also died for his King and Country. His mother was granted a war gratuity on the 27 February 1919 revised 9 February 1920. Commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial, France also commemorated on a Poppy Cross Memorial at the Armed Forces Memorial, National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire 11 November 2018
