HMS Daring enters service

The world's most advanced Anti-Air Warfare Destroyer and the first of the Royal Navy's Type 45's, HMS Daring, was handed over to the MOD in a ceremony on 10th December 2008.
Yesterday, 16th January 2009, on a wet and windy day, she passed Greenock as she left the River Clyde en route to her new home base of Portsmouth.
