1944 her parents were residing at South Yardley, Birmingham.

Hilda Constance Marie Bishop of 41 Moodycroft Road, South Yardley, Birmingham, spinster, Died 18 January 1944 on war service. Her effects went to her mother.
Serving in India since July 1941. Died in India 18 January 1944 aged 39.

MEMORIAL VASES
Two brass vases were dedicated to the memory of Hilda Constance Bishop, and Phyllis Nuttall. two 'nursing sisters who lost their lives during the war, during a memorial service at the City General Hospital. The service conducted by the Rev. H. - Casson. and there was a full congregation, past and present members of the nursing staff. the medical superintendent and his wife. Dr and Mrs A.P. Page and many patients.
