Extended Description
Flight Lieutenant Henry William CARTER. No. 3521975 Royal Air Force.
Died 26 June 1962 aged 24.

He was flying a Meteor T7 WG962 from the Red Pelicans under instruction from Flight Lieutenant Trevor J Doem when on take-off the starboard engine engine failed. The aircraft turned over and crashed upside down on the runway. Both died at the scene.

At rest at Little Rissington St Peter Churchyard, Gloucestershire.
