- Flight Lieutenant Henry William CARTER. No. 3521975 Royal Air Force.
Died 26 June 1962 aged 24.
He was flying a Meteor T7 WG962 from the Red Pelicans under instruction from Flight Lieutenant Trevor J Doem when on take-off the starboard engine engine failed. The aircraft turned over and crashed upside down on the runway. Both died at the scene.
