In memory of my uncle Harry BATES aged 17 who died at the battle of Jutland. "Always remembered"
No record was found for this person was found listed with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and Naval web sites. This memorial is part of the Memory Tree at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
The Battle of Jutland was a naval battle fought by the British Royal Navy's Grand Fleet under Admiral Sir John Jellicoe, against the Imperial German Navy's High Seas Fleet under Vice-Admiral Reinhard Scheer during the First World War. May 31, 1916 – June 1, 1916
