Harry and Jack ROGERS.

Extended Description
The twin sons of Sergeant Major Harry George ROGERS, 1st Royal West Kent Regiment and Alice.
Born 4th July 1904. Harry died 31st July 1904. Jack died 8th December 1904.

Both at rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot 01. Row 20. Grave 10

Additional information about their father -
Harry George ROGERS. In 1911 he was a Warrant Officer, and residing with his wife Alice Emily, aged 34 years and children, Alice Mary aged 5, born at Malta and Ada May aged 2, born at Dover. His widowed mother in law Elizabeth Kemp at Married Quarters, Quebee Barracks, Bordon, with the West Kent Regiment. He gave his place of birth as Tennessee, America born in 1872.

Medal Card show he was commissioned as Lieutenant and then as Captain with the 3rd Royal West Kent Regiment, also warded the M.B.E. and Military Cross. Fought in the Great War.
London Gazette dated 23rd April 1912.
Sergeant Major Harry George Rogers to be Quartermaster with the Honorary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 24th April 1912
He was married in 1903 to Alice Emily Kemp. Marriage was registered in the District of Chelmsford Essex.
He may have died 18th July 1958 at Linton Hospital, Linton, near Maidstone, Kent.
