The following narrative was given by Mary, who has given me permission to add photographs, documentation and facts in this Album -
" When WW1 broke out he (George) became a dispatch rider and then went to the Dardanelles, Egypt, Syria with RE signals co. Was awarded the MC. He finally came home in about 1920/21. In WW2 he was RA requisitioning officer in Cambridge."
