- George Albert ALLEN (Grandad) Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, Royal Army Ordnance Corps died 1960's He was the husband of Phillis Mary Hannah McMahon whom he married at St John's Church (Sialkot Army Station) Colaba Pakistan. He was born at Chester on the 8th August 1889 and died on the 15th December 1968 at 12, Reeves Avenue, Bootle, Mersyside, Lancashire. (No medal card was found)
Derek Charles ALLEN (Dad) Royal Marines Commando 1923 - 2010 He was Derek Charles McMahon Allen late of Hampton Towers, Southampton died peacefully at St Helens on the 19th September 2010 aged 86. He was born in India and is at rest in Bootle Cemetery. "Lest we forget" These Poppy Cross memorials is part of the Memory Tree at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
Roger ALLEN (Uncle) RAOC (Royal Army Ordnance Corps) 1925-1944 Private 14425232 Roger Robert ALLEN, ROAC attached to Airborne Forces, died 30th June 1944 aged 18. He was the son of Albert and Phillis Mary of Bootle. He is at rest in Bootle Cemetery, Lancashire.These Poppy Cross memorials is part of the Memory Tree at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
