- G032 REGINALD EDWARD GEORGE BURTON. Captain, Royal Marine Light Infantry on HMS Irrestible. Invalided to Malta on Hospital ship Soudan 19 March 1915 admitted into hospital 25 March 1915. Died 1st April 1915 in Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta of shell wounds to right shoulder, thigh and leg, received 18th March 1915 at the Dardanelles. Son of Thomas Henry and Eliza Burton, of 35, Manville Road, Balham, London. Educated at Highgate School.
At rest in Plot G Grave 32, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
