in memory of her husband Francis died 14 May 1973 aged 52 years.
During the 1939-45 war Francis was a survivor from the Kenbane Head, sunk by a German Battle Ship, Grafspee. Torpedoed in three other ships in the South Atlantic. Spent 28 days in a lifeboat, afterwards landed on the East Coast of Africa. His courage I shall remember forever.
