Francis ECCLES. Private 9949 1st Bn, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.
Born 14 December 1888 at Ross Beg Co Tyrone to Francis and Mary Ann Eccles, nee O'Donnell of Carland. Dungannon, Co Tyrone.
Irish 1901 with his father and siblings at Derraghadoan, Donaghmore County Tyrone. His mother was not home when the census was taken.
He made his Will 23 April 1913. Full extract of his Will.
"In the event of my death I gave to whole of my property and effects to my sister Rose Eccles c/o Mrs Donnelly of Carland Dungannon Co Tyrone Ireland."
Died In Malta 3 August 1915 aged 27 years. His father was granted a war gratuity 24 January 1916 revised 19 September 1919,

William Henry LYNCH. 2nd Lieutenant, 4th Australian Infantry. Son of William John and Elizabeth Ann Lynch, of 5, Zara Street, Newcastle, New South Wales. Died of wounds 14th August 1915 aged 22.
Notes from his service records.
Joined up aged 21 years and 2 months, occupation farmer resided at Sandhills, Newcastle New South Wales.
26 April 1915 promoted to Acting Sergeant. Promoted in the field to 2nd Lieutenant 14 August 1915.
5 July 1915 he received gunshot wounds to addomen and chest. wounded during operations at Lone Pine, Gallipoli. Treated at No5 Field Ambulance. Ttransferred to Base Depot in Gallipoli 8 August 1915. Invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship Duluce Castle , disembarked at Malta 12 August 1915 admitted to and unknown hospital where he died of his wounds 14 August 1915.

Stirling Roy MELLEY. Private 2205, 13th Australian Infantry. Son of Edward and Rose Ann Melley. Born at Liverpool, New South Wales. Died 12th August 1915 aged 19.

Joined up 13 May 1915 aged 19 years and 6 months. Resided at Surrey Hill, Sydney N.S.W. Occupation paper bag merchant, apprentice to Keating and Joyce Bros for 2 years. Next of kin his sister, Rita Melley of 18 Cooper Street Double Bay New South Wales.
Wounded at Gallipoli, gunshot wound to chest 7 August 1915. Invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship Dunluce Castle disembarking 11 August 1915. died of his wounds in a hospital in Malta to following day.
