This letter was sent to the wife of Ernest Webb, she had previously been informed that he was Missing in Action after a German attack on his vehicle convoy (Africa). Fortunately Ernest was experienced and professional and found his way back to continue the fight.
Ernest served with Monty's 8th Army.
