CLARKE, Edward. Lieutenant , 12th Royal Lancers. He was born on the 18th August 1881 and was killed in action at Greylingstadt, South Africa on the 7th May 1901 He was the son of Thomas and Isabella and brother of Leonard who fell in the Great War. He is commemorated on his parents memorial at Knutsford Cemetery, Cheshire.
