Dean Hill is an ex Munitions storage facility. The site is on face value a mixture of rolling downland and escarpment covered in yew and juniper woodland. There are over 100 buildings dotted around the site connected by a narrow guage railway line. Tarmac roads also link different areas. There are 24 bunkers dug into the escarpment - the only evidence of which are large metal entrance doors.
