RAY, Charles Edward. Sergeant Cadet, 305024, 2/8th Royal Warwickshire Regiment, formerly Lance Sergeant 1634, of the same regiment. died 29th October 1918 aged 29. He was the son of James Edward and Annie Elizabeth of 108, Oakley Road, Redditch, Worcestershire. He was awarded the Military Medal.
He is at rest in Plymouth Road, Cemetery, Redditch, Worcestershire.
At the moment, no. His medal card does not show him having been awarded the M.M. only the Victory and British medals. London Gazette - no luck at the moment. My last hope, I have made contact with a chap who has a family tree with our chap in it on Ancestry. Lets hope he can help
