- Carlton M COTA Staff Sergeant (S/Sgt) USA 12094144, 513 Bomb Squadron, 376 Bombardment Group stationed at RAF LUQA. Born 6 March 1924 to John Joseph and Jessica I Cota, nee Mead. 1930 residing with his parents and siblings at Peru, Clinton County, New York, USA. Part crew of B-17 Bomber. Died on active service as a tail gunner 17 April 1943.
Laid to rest 18 April 1943 aged 19 In Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta in Plot F. Grave 11.
Now at rest in Colchester Village Cemetery, Colchester, Chittenden County, Vermont, USA
