Avro Vulcan

The Vulcan first flew on 30th August 1952 and was the first bomber in the world to use the delta wing and the RAF took delivery of the Vulcan B.Mk.1 in July 1956. However, production of the B.Mk.1 was stop after the 45th aircraft the remainder by completed to the B.Mk.2 standard.These had been fitted with air to air refuelling equipment in May of 1982 the Vulcan was used to bomb the Falkland Island in support of British operations to recapture them.
