Arthur Edward BRADBERY, Leading Seaman, J21068 Royal Navy HMS King George V. Born 30th April 1896, baptised 14th June 1896 at West Hyde, Rickmansworth Hertfordshire to George James and Ellen Elizabeth Bradbery, nee Freestone. In 1911 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 4 Butterfield Cottage, West Hyde, Rickmansworth, occupation garden boy, domestic. Enlisted 28th October 1912 on HMS Impregnable, occupation prior to enlistment, garden boy. Died 4th March 1921 aged 24 years in Lord Kitchener Hotel Citta' Vecchia (Mdina) Malta from a fractured skull causing haemorrhage and cerebral compression. The injuries were caused by him falling of his bicycle and hitting is head. His father, George of Pleasant Place, West Hyde Rickmansworth Hertfordshire was informed of his death.
