DAVIDSON Clarence. Corporal, 226, C Company, 3rd Australian Light Horse. Died of his wounds 26th June 1915, aged 22 years. He was the son of Richard and Sarah Ann Davidson, of Wandearah, South Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
DAVIE Alexander. Private, 23, 21st Battalion Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds 17th October 1915, aged 30 years. He was the son of Robert McKinley and Jane Sophia

DAVIE James McKinley, Private, 95, 7th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds 16th May 1915, aged 28 years. The son of Robert McKinley and Jane Sophia Davie, of 146 McPherson Street, Carlton North, Victoria, Australia. Inscribed on his memorial. "A loving thought, a silent tear, makes your memory ever dear" he is at rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
DEERY Charles Patrick. Private 1533, 3rd Australian Infantry died 16th August 1915. Born at Bairnside, Victoria and enlisted at Liverpool, New South Wales on the 12th December 1914 aged 32 and 4 months, occupation, miner. Next of kin, was his mother M Derry of Bengworden Post Office, Gippsland, Victoria. He embarked from Sydney on H.M.A.T. A49 Scang Choon on the 11th February 1915 bound for the Mediterranean . He was shot and wounded in a leg and right thigh, serious. He was invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship, Dunluce Castle on the 12th August 1915 He died in a Military Hospital in Malta on the 16th August 1915 from gangrene of a leg wound received in action. At rest in Addolorata Cemetery, Malta.
DOUGLAS Arthur Albert. Private, 3145, 6th Field Ambulance, Australian Army Medical Corps. Died of his wounds, 25th December 1915, aged 22 years. The son of Arthur and Catherine Ursula Douglas, of Warburton Road, Seville, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
DWYER James Joseph. Petty Officer Stoker 8017, H.M.A.S. Brisbane, Royal Australian Navy died 7th May 1917 aged 46.
Son of Patrick and Bridget Dwyer and husband of Mary Kate Dwyer, of Upper Rosses Point, Sligo, Ireland. He was born on the 20th October 1870 at Rosses Point, Co Sligo, joined the Royal Navy on the 2nd January 1907 and joined the Royal Australian Navy on the 1st February 1913. On the 8th June 1914 he passed his examination for Petty Officer Stoker. At rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta
EASTABROOK Thomas Samuel. Stoker 5176, H.M.A.S. Brisbane, Royal Australian Navy died 24th February 1917 aged 27. Husband of Esther Kathleen Lynch (remarried), of 42 East Street, Stonehouse, Plymouth, Devon. He was born on the 19th February 1880 at Devonport, Devon. Joined the Royal Navy on the 19th October 1911 and lent to the Royal Australian Navy for three years from the 1st July 1912. At rest in Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta
ELLIS Cecil Douglas. Private, 1121, 11th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 15th May 1915. Some notes from his army records. He joined up on the 28th September 1914 aged 24 years and 11 months., occupation, miner. He gave no home address in Australia but gave his mother's 15a Sydney Road, Lorentzville, Johannesburg, South Africa., his father was called Frederick, mother's name not given. He was born at King Wiliamstown, Cape Colony. He embarked frpm Melbouren on H.M.A.T. A32 Themistocles on the 22nd December 1914 bound for England for further training. After he had completed his training he embarked England on the 2nd March 1915 on H.M.T. Suffolk bound for the Gallipoli Peninsular. He was seriously wounded in action at the Dardanelles on the 29th April 1915, then transferred to Malta on Hospital Ship, Clan MacGillivray on the 4th May 1915, admitted into a hospital in Malta same day (name of the hospital not given) He died of his wounds on the 15th May 1915 and was laid to rest the same day. ELLIS Victor. Private, 367, 5th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of dysentery, 11th September 1916. The son of William Charles and Anna Ellis, of 6 Clara Street, South Yarra, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
EVANS Francis Gilbert . Private, 63, 10th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds 31st May 1915, aged 21 years. The son of John and Jane Evans, of Rankine Road, Torrensville, South Australia. In memory of the loved son of Mr & Mrs J Evans of Adelaid South Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
EVANS Victor Arthur. Private 1918, 27th Australian Infantry died 30th October 1915. He was born at Bournemouth, Hampshire, England and enlisted at Keswick, South Australia on the 16th June 1915 aged 20 and 11 months, occupation, school teacher. . His next of kin was his father, John Evans of 1 Clapton Road, Maryatville, South Australia. He embarked at Adelaide for the Mediterranean on H.M.A.T. Morea on the 26th August 1918. On the 17th October 1915 he was taken sick and admitted into 7th Field Ambulance at Gallipoli. At some stage he was invalided to Malta and admitted into hospital on the 20th October 1915 from Hospital Ship, Nevasa. He died of scarlet fever on the 30th October 1915 at Military Hospital, Imtarfa, Malta At rest in Addolorata Cemetery, Malta.
FLEMING George Ray. Private 720, 3rd Australian Infantry, died 28th May 1915 aged 24. He was the son of John henry and Catherine Jane of Central McDonald, New South Wales. Inscribed on his memorial. "Far away in a hero's grave he lies one of the bravest and best". He is at rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
