The strategic bridge at Remagen-on-Rhine. The Allies used it as long as they could. After 10 days of shelling, with many near misses, it was hit by German artillery and brought down, A CCKW-353 HI dump truck was on the bridge at the time, but looks recoverable. (March 16 1945.)
