(CWGC) Alfred Stanley HOPE. Private 7380447, 16th Parachute Field Ambulance. Royal Army Medical Corps. Born 1920 to Fred and Lily Hope, of Blackburn, Lancashire. Died in Operation Market Garden between 17/09/1944 and 25/09/1944 aged 24. At rest in Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem, Gelderland, Netherlands

This Poppy Cross Memorial was at the Operation Market Garden Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire on the 11 November 2018
