Son of Allan and Anne Waldron, of Hagley, Worcs., husband of Elizabeth Waldron, 22 Napier Street, Gloucester.
At rest at Gloucester Old Cemetery, Gloucestershire.
He joined up on the 7 August 1914 aged 39 years and 2 months. Posted the Gloucestershire Regiment Depot at Horfield, Bristol.
Promoted to Lance Corporal 14 January 1915 with the 4th Gloucestershire Regiment, posted to France 31 March 1915, returned to UK 6 August 1915 after 128 days.
Posted to C Coy, 82nd Provisional Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment on the 29 September 1915 and discharged from the army 21 April 1916.
