Movie / TV What's the last movie you watched

I have watched “Drunk” also known as “Another Round” for the American/Anglo audience.

Basically the story and theory of a danish psychiatrist that we have as humans not enough alcohol in our system from birth and we should make up for that.

Interesting and groundbreaking story, excellent and compelling acting from Mads Mikkelsen and the rest but… IDK I was expecting a bit more. The final scene was world class however:

'Kate'

Not giving anything away here that you won't read on the Netflix synopsis but assassin for hire in Tokyo gets poisoned and tries to get her revenge before it takes effect.

Gloriously silly over the top violence as Mary Elizabeth Winstead John Wicks her way through the Yakuza.

Completely stupid, but I really enjoyed it.

On Netflix, there is a french flick called "the stronghold" translated from BAC Nord as the original title.

It relates to a drug busting operation in the extremely tough norther district of Marseilles in southern France where the police officers had to make difficult choices. Inspired by a true story. Very realistic according to many police officers about what it is to police the suburbs. Great flick...

We write “Marseilles” without this “s” here in the civilized world.

Stupid Anglos adding s to crappy French cities but take out the s for the name Georges.

Went to see the Slovak flick "Auschwitz report" ("Sprava" in Slovak) telling the true story of two Slovak jews who escaped Auschwitz and whose testimony shattered the "everything´s good" coming from the International Red Cross.

Scenes of Auschwitz are harsh...with two anecdotes that my uncle told me about: the need to keep your food bowl at all times otherwise you´d starve, and the never ending counts of prisoners before the work and after the work.

Some girls came in with popcorn and sodas...I do that when going to numb my mind watching Godzilla but am unable to do it for this kind of picture.
