This generator using water power is really something. The Japanese have a viable working engine for cars so just imagine not having to buy gasoline.

You could also power an engine with Whisky ... as well

Yes it was known technology back then and of course a few mysterious deaths of people who were developing, rumor was.. it was big oil that did not want the technology out because it would kill the gas industry. On another note just 15 years ago they were working on water compressors for cooling and had working models but they were never able to quieten the compressors since water does not compress. I can imagine how loud the compressors were using water. Working on diesel I learned a long time ago about high compression and a simple piece of paper no thicker than a dollar bill would cause a diesel engine to knock. Just a tiny piece !
