ADAMS Rowland Scott. Corporal, 215066, Eastern Mediterranean H.Q., Royal Air Force, died 6th October 1918, from pneumonia in St.Andrews Hospital. Aged 30 years, He was the son of John C. and R.S. Adams, and was the husband of Alice Elizabeth Adams.

CLARK Hugh. Driver, T1/1521, H.T. Royal Army Service Corps, attached to the 85th Field Ambulance, died 4th October 1918, aged 28 years. He was the son of Patrick (HM Forces) and Isabella Mortimer, of Kirkland, Leven, Fife.
Some notes from what remains of his army record. He joined up at Aldershot on the 14th August 1914 aged 23 and was by occupation a miner. He was mobilised on the 3rd September 1915 and posted 115 Company, A.S.C. 5th January 1916 he embarked Devonport for Salonica on ship H T Norsemen, disembarked at Salonica on the 22nd January 1916 and posted to A Company, 22nd Divisional Train. On the 8th June 1916 he was admitted to hospital suffering from diarrhoea (Dysentery) He was transferred to Malta on Hospital Ship, Braemar Castle on the 30th June 1916 and was admitted to Imtarfa Hospital, Malta on the 4th July 1916. He was transferred to England on the 20th July 1916 on Hospital Ship Rewa. The 9th January 1917 he once again embarked from Devonport on H T Shropshire and disembarked at Salonica on the 30th January 1917. Joined 517 Divisional Train on the 9th February 1917.
On the 17th September 1918 he was admitted to 25 Casualty Clearing Station, Salonica suffering from influenza. He was transferred Imtarfa Hospital, Malta on Hospital Ship Goorkha. He died on the 4th of October 1918 from tuberculosis of the lungs.

CARTWRIGHT Arthur.Private, 25284, D. Coy, 1st Garrison Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, formerly Private 41231 King\'s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Died 3rd October 1918, aged 24 years. He was the son of Joseph and Caroline Cartwright, of 128 Britton Lane, Sheffield.
