No pictures yet but my partner got me some Artis Opus brushes for model painting which are going to be very welcome as my current brushes are all pretty clapped out.

Also I made some cake. Lots of almonds, hazelnuts and various fruits and berries all held together with chocolate!

The family appeared to shred wrapping paper. Against my wishes, I did get gifts. Full auto rubber band gun X 2 and a model ship. One of granddaughter's school HS pals was left home by her parents who took off to Oklahoma, so we had her over for dinner and a few gifts. The best part was seeing her having a great time. Seems her dad and stepmom drink and squabble a lot. She really loaded up on dinner, too!
