The first female attack helicopter pilots have independently completed tens of flight maneuvers and attack tasks after two years of training.

These pilots were chosen from the People's Liberation Army's Air Force in 2014 to join the brigade of the PLA's Army's aviation corps.

The brigade commander said they trained the pilots using methods that shortened the course time dramatically before they could independently carry out the missions in the sky.

Song Daili, deputy political instructor for a SWAT unit in Suining City, Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, participates in a reality show organized by China’s Central Television and the Ministry of Public Security. Song won second place in a shooting contest in Sichuan in 2011. Some 3,900 police officers from across the country applied to be on the program, with only 28 admitted after a strict selection process.
