Returning from Peterborough this afternoon at about 13.30 hours, I was driving along the A15 towards Lincoln when I saw ahead of me the two Lancaster bombers taking off. As I approached Waddington RAF base, the traffic lights were still on red and as I sat there I saw the Vulcan bomber flying over the road and watched as it joined the two Lancaster’s to form up in arrowhead formation with the Vulcan leading.

While I sat in the car with no bloody camera.
