I have just found a photo of the grave of F/Sgt B J Marriott at Shawbury - died 3rd March 1956. I am trying to find a photo of the NF10 Vampire WM677 he was flying at the time of his fatal accident. Can anybody help?
    Many thanks. BTF66

You will get many photos of NF 10 Vampires if you Google it into your search engine. However, getting a photo of WM677 will be hard to come by as there may not be a photo of that particular airplane.

    WM677 Vampire NF10 crashed on 03/03/1956
Hit trees on rising ground in bad visibility near Watlington, Oxon while on approach to Benson, Both crew killed.

Might be difficult to get a photo pre 1956 but I wish you luck

If it helps I think WM677 was part of 41 Squadron RAF

Difficult. Very. Try also searching for Alan Pritchard, a British photographer, and his collections.
