As @bdpopeye communicated above - on March 4-5 on board the USS Wasp (LHD 1), type Wasp, landed multi-task combat aircraft shortened takeoff and vertical landing F-35B Lightning II from the composition Marine Strike Fighter Squadron 121 (USMC Fighter Squadron, VMFA-121) Green Knights. In this way, the first operational mission of aircraft of this type was launched on board the US Navy.

Good to see @BravoZulu @bdpopeye on here. Is @santana here too?

Dont forget regardless of the image host you use that your images will automatically be cached and served by a proxy system from our server. What this means @EJ-S is that even if you remove the image from your image host it will remain visible here :)

Excellent that you decided to come over from AAR EJ! Loved your photo's and hope you can get back into it again (Y)

It would be great to see Hump in here also

Just a point to note too @EJ-S if you post your photos into the media galleries, either one of the pre determined categories or create an album. You can organise all your photos into different groups. You can make as many albums as you wish.

So you are kinda using the media gallery as a military photos host. They will never be lossed and you can use the codes provided to share the photos around the interweb, including in the forums here. That said uploading them directly to the thread will also preserve them, we do not delete photos here.

If say you post a photo from IMGUR or other hosting package we will, as I said cache the images and they will always display however if you try and share the photo to another forum directly from the thread here it will not show unless it is directly uploaded to the thread.

With Albums (in the media area) you can set your own permissions for who can post to it or even who can see it. For example if I had a sensitive album of photos that I only wanted certain members to see, you can allow only those members access to view them and comment on them.

hope that was clear enough o_O
