Camp Pendleton, Calif. - Four 105mm Howitzers fire in rhythmic succession during a ceremonial 21-gun salute held at the Marine Corps Installations-West Command building here on Memorial Day May 27. Frejus, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France - United States Marines of 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division participated in a training exhibition with the French 21st Marine Infantry Regiment, in Frejus, France, May 23. Throughout the day, the U.S. Marines demonstrated techniques of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program and afterwards took part in the French marines' obstacle course. After completing their training, the U.S. Marines visited a static display of French weaponry and the museum of the French Marines.
