My Dad ( Parachute Regiment) once relayed a comment that his dad said to him, granddad was Coastal AA Artillery WW2 he apparently said about the US Troops. " Some of the greatest fighting men I have ever seen, but they came from good stock". Always made me giggle that, he meant no offence, he was just a true old British Gent and clearly had a lot of respect for our American Cousins. I often hear US politicians and even presidents refer to our "Unique and special friendship", I would say we had a Unique and special, shared heritage. :)

Thanks buddy, just imagine, so many members that a million likes would need, I can dream those fantastic thoughts.

My Grandad was exactly what you might imagine a Cockney would be, funny, clever & the salt of the earth. He also had lots of other things to say about our allies but I will save them for another day and thread :)

Don't worry about it. There are very few people here who put pictures taken by themselves - as for me this is a huge asset of your photos. And besides, they are good, you judge too harshly in my opinion.

@Black Pawn , I'm trying to find out more info about the photos of the vehicles being off loaded in Jordan. Do you have any idea when they were off loaded? Thanks.
