Machine gunner, Sergiy Gunder (forever 41) from the 93rd Infantry Brigade was killed by a Russian sniper in the wee hours of the morning of May 15th, 2018. Large caliber round not only killed Sergiy by pretty much destroying chest cavity, but wounded another soldier as well. The bullet passed through wooden crates filled with sand and 2 armor plates. The other soldier was fortunately only lightly wounded as his armor plate held.

RIP Sergiy. I am guessing he was hit by at least a 12.7mm or even 14.5mm. Another loss to another family
