Today,
Gendarmerie Commandos recovered 2 firing devices, 11 electronic devices, 1 hand grenade and 26 batteries as part of Operation 'Kapan-7' in Gabar mountains from PKK rebels.

Al Hares Al Mane-2020 (Invincible Sentry) exercise, hosted by Qatar, is began. Turkish Armed Forces has sent 2 Army Commando units (They appear on the left side in the first and second photos), 1 Army Special Forces team (Those with HK416), and 1 Navy Underwater Offence "SAT" personnel (He doesn't appear in the photos.) to the Qatar for this exercise. I'll share it with you guys as the new photos come in.

I am wondering that too, even the regular infantry and commando brigades are getting new x-type knee&elbow pads in current camo colour as standard issue gear which can be seen even on the troops deployed to Qatar in desert camo from the same photoset. But SF guys are just insisting to use good-old blackhawk knee and elbow pads. Same as the Safariland 6004 Drop-Leg holsters, it's probably the best holster to use in CQB for their standard issue USP9T siderarms with flashlight attachments et. all. but huge and discomfy as f*k to use in field.

And also notice the current standard issue camo in the new cutout same as their own camouflage variant which has been adopted for a while ago.

"Combat operations in deep snow and severe cold". One of the phases of the Commando specialization course at Isparta Eğirdir Mountain Commando School, which has been shown to be among the toughest military trainings in the world, was successfully completed.

The soldiers who's working under the Ministry of National Defense are informed about personal protection so that they are not affected by the Coronavirus outbreak, and disinfecting process are performed with precision in units. (In the first picture, you can see the new camouflage of Marines)

On March 18, the TCG Heybeliada Corvette performed a ceremony in front of the Martyrs Monument by saluting them with 21 cannon shots as part of the 105th anniversary of the Gallipoli Naval Victory and the Martyrs Memorial Day.

Nope they are M-48's, the turret is round and it has 5 small support rollers, the M-60 has only 3 support rollers

Nowadays, i guess your M48's are third line tanks, isnt it ? What it their missions in Turkish Army.

These are M48A5T2, which were converted from M48A2C with MTU 850 HP diesel engine, new transmisison and 105mm M68 main gun with M60A3 fire control system and thermal gunner sights and M60 tracks btw 1982-1990s. At its peak 1,389 M48A5T1 and 758 M48A5T2 were serving the Turkish Army. Currently only the M48A5T2s are kept in service due to their relatively modern engine and thermal sights. Therefore they are mostly using to provide mobile fire support in low intense inter-border security operations.

Here is the current tank inventory of Turkish military which I have also shared on the first page.

-Leopard 2A4______(339 units, going to modernize by aselsan with Leopard 2NG programme in long-term period)
-M60T1 Sabra-Fırat_(164+ units, detailly modernized by Israel and aselsan)
-Leopard 1T________(171 units, modernized with 3rd gen fire & control systems by aselsan)
-Leopard 1A3_______(184 units, turning into combat suport platforms like mobile bridging and armoured recovery vehicles)
-M60A3TTS Patton___(650 units, modernizing with roketsan made add-on reactive armour)
-M48A5T2 Patton____(750 units, modernized with 105mm M68 gun, MTU diesel engine and M60A3 fire & control system and thermal sights, slowly removing from active service)
